The Energetic Impact of Flower Essences
By Rhonda PallasDowney DiHom, Herbalist
Living Flower Essences (LFE) contain a sacred plant energy which can balance human discord, re-establishing the link between body and soul, nature and spirit. These flower essences are plant helpers that teach us to live life at its fullest with greater self awareness and to connect us with our Divine nature.
Each flower or plant has a unique form, smell, color, texture, taste, and a special “sense” or gift that it will share with others. The flower or plant offers a special message or lesson which arouses a feeling and/or thought unique to the flower’s own identity and individualization. The characteristics and personalities of flowers offer a lesson or message exactly at a time when we need it most, helping us be in touch with our innermost natures.
As you use Living Flower Essences, you will soon experience the powerful yet gentle effects they offer you. Treasure the gifts of these special plants and allow your own personal growth to unfold and blossom.
To utilize the plant’s unique energy pattern, flowers are picked and placed in a clear glass bowl of purified water. This is called an infusion. The infusion containing the flower’s blossoms is set out in direct sunlight, or in some cases, moonlight.
The energy of the light – sun or moon – extracts the energy of the blossom into the water and creates a life force pattern which reflects the character of that flower or plant. The energy pattern is stored within the flower essence and can be used for physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual healing.
